    “In 1911 Frank Lloyd Wright took the original limestone plaque that bore his name and logo (the cross with in circle within a square) to put into an entrance wall at Taliesin, his new home near Spring Green, Wisconsin. The restoration architects made a rubbing of the original and produced a drawing that guided the stonecutter in carving the reproduction seen in this photograph. American Express financed the reprodcution.”
