I need a good, solid Craftsman bedroom dresser. Wide and not too tall, maybe a 8 drawer (4 and 4) or 9 drawer (3/3/3) design, without a lot of decoration. Any suggestions for a well-made piece for under $1500?

Have you checked out unusual places like Cassona? They “adjusted” a dresser design for me and made it 3/3/3 a few years back. Nine perfectly square drawers and different knobs than the regular ones. Very pretty. Under $400. (Back then.)
With different handles, Sterling Park might come close. Or a horizontally designed Java piece. Mine was adapted from this design and came out looking like the repeating 3/3/3 pattern we found in our home. (The different knobs help a lot.)
