My cousin Eve is shopping for a new Craftsman sofa for her Oakland bungalow. Not a settle, but rather a sofa, something a bit more comfortable and informal. She really likes the Shelter Seating line from Craftsman Furnishings in Costa Mesa. Any other suggestions?

Stickley’s stuff is amazing: well-crafted, comfortable, although incredibly expensive. That being said, we bit the bullet on a panel-sided sleeper sofa from Stickley, and we couldn’t be happier. It’s from the “softer side of Stickley” collection and looks very similar to the above-features sofa, but with panels instead of spindles and a bit of a higher back.
