Sorry for the light posts this week. Had a small heart attack and am back from the hospital with stents in and lots of new medications. As a result I may not get back to the usual Hewn & Hammered schedule for another week. Sorry.

Yes, take it easy and rest! My mother had a stent about 10 years ago, has been fine since.

That just happened to a co-worker (although he said he experienced “the light at the end of the tunnel” and his hearth stopped for 2 minutes) and when he returned to work after almost 2 months — he’s a changed man. He used to be always in a hurry, concerned about deadlines, etc. — now he is the mellowest guy you can imagine and takes everything in stride. He asks how you are, smiles at everyone and goes out of his way to be of help (I asked him if he could share any drugs he’s on ;-).
Funny how these kinds of things force us to change life’s priorities. Best of health to you and take care!
