A few articles on the grand opening of the Stickley museum on the third floor of the Stickley-Audi factory in Manlius, New York.
- Fayetteville (New York)’s News 10 reports on the opening itself and has a bit of video from the new exhibits; and
- the Syracuse Post-Standard has a short note on the opening celebration, as well as some comments from readers, and a longer article printed the day of the opening is also available.
Friends,
I am sure that if you watch the videos and read the news you will find that our Stickley Museum is in Fayetteville but not in North Carolina.
We are in Fayetteville NEW YORK. We are a suburb of Syracuse. And our basketball team is not as good as most of their basketball teams.
I would like to have the Museum in North Carolina. Given the amount of snow we get here compared to there it would be a treat. But, it is not to be.
Come and visit me in the good Old Summertime…Snowacuse is weather friendly then.
BTW…There is also a Stickley Museum at the Craftsman Farms in Parsippany New JERSEY. That is a different museum in a totally different state. But they are our friends and we love them. They can be found at http://www.stickleymuseum.org
They have a better website than we do. Ours is practically non-existent. But when we get it going it will be http://www.stickleymuseum.com. We are a com, they are an org.
I hope to see all of you again when I return to Portland…Oregon…not Maine.
