Jim Bursch at West LA Online points us to the bargain of the month: should you have a lot crying out for a pretty, well-maintained 900 sq ft 1906 bungalow, look no further! "If you can move it, you can have it," and that’s pretty much truth in advertising. The owner is putting something new on the lot – and by the way, this wouldn’t work where I live in Sacramento; there is no way the zoning board would allow anyone to raze a perfectly fine house in the historic district just to put in new development – and will either raze it, or let anyone who wants to truck it away do so.
I am interested in finding out more information on this offer. Where would I find out about how much it would cost to move this house?
I would like to talk to the owner about the house, I would like the house and have gotten info on moving it but would like the size and other info.
Thank you!
How much would it cost to move this house from Venice to Lancaster??
I am interested in this great offer, if you can please send any further information on the house, I have an empty lot next to my home, in the city of Lynwoood Ca. How soon do you need to relocate this house. Is it still available.Ps. I think this would be a great place for our mother to live in. Thank you for your time.
I’m interested in knowing more about this house.
I’m a GC and I restore old Craftsman to their finest.
I would be interested in dismantling the entire house and
relocating and rebuilding it in the Long Beach area.
Please advise.
Thanks
it would probably have to be cut in half at least to get it on the road. I know a guy in napa vallejo ca. named phil joy. he can lift and move the house if given enough room. he charged me 4000 dollars to lift my house for a new foundation. would cost more to move, take apart and re assemble. why not just lift the house and build the addition underneath the existing house. much easier.
The house looks ok, but after remodel believe the value will increase.
Just wonder how old is the house?
