The shop is not yet online, but please do explore some of our new features – bigger & better photo albums, a calendar (which doesn’t yet much much content, sorry – please send in events!) and the home registry, which we hope you’ll add your own house to. I must say I heartily approve of the bookmarks list being off to the left hand side of the window (and not only because it’s the exact sort of layout that I use); three-column designs make the text look squashed in, while a two column design (even an inflexible one) looks much more spacious.
I really like the new look. The other was a little cramped. I have enjoyed this site since I found it early in 2005. I am currently building my own bungalow and I have used many ideas that I have seen in your articles on the originals. Keep up the good work and I hope to see Hewn and Hammered on the web for many years to come.
